Weston “Wes” Brainerd is the Co-Founder and CEO of both SWAVE Social and SWAVE Skin Care—a visionary creator, strategist, and mentor who helped pioneer the modern TikTok LIVE experience. With nearly a decade of full-time livestreaming under his belt, Wes brings unmatched expertise in performance, monetization, and creator growth.
Wes first gained national attention on the Meet Me app, where he became a top badge holder and one of the platform’s most successful LIVE creators. Seeing the potential of TikTok early, he made the switch and launched SWAVE Social, a creator network built to help streamers build profitable, full-time careers on TikTok LIVE. His passion for helping others succeed is the foundation of SWAVE—an agency rooted in mentorship, strategy, and creator empowerment.
At SWAVE Social, Wes helped build the agency’s live recruitment process and pioneered key strategies now widely used in TikTok LIVE, from live battling to engagement pacing to audience conversion. His coaching style is real, hands-on, and shaped by years of experience at the top of the LIVE game.
But Wes’s story goes deeper. As a child, he was diagnosed with one of the most severe cases of Atopic Dermatitis in Arkansas—an extreme skin condition that covered over 95% of his body. The experience left physical and emotional scars but also gave him a powerful drive to rise above adversity. That personal battle with skin health became a major inspiration behind SWAVE Skin Care, a medical-grade line developed with pharmaceutical-level technology to deliver real results. Wes knows firsthand the importance of skin confidence—and he’s on a mission to help others feel as good as they look.
Wes lives in the DFW area with his wife and co-founder, Samantha, and their five children. Together, they’re leading a movement—helping creators and consumers alike show up, shine, and succeed in the new digital economy.

Samantha Brainerd is the Co-Founder and CEO of SWAVE Social and SWAVE Skin Care—a powerhouse behind the systems, structure, and strategy that drive two of the most innovative brands in the creator and beauty industries. With over 17 years of experience in corporate operations, sales, and marketing, Samantha leads with both precision and heart—fueling sustainable growth and meaningful impact for creators and consumers alike.
At SWAVE Social, Samantha oversees all backend operations, including creator onboarding, technical applications, compliance, and campaign development. She built the internal infrastructure that allows the agency to operate with excellence while still offering personalized coaching and elite-level support. Her strategic thinking and operational expertise are what make the SWAVE engine run.
Samantha’s love for aesthetics and results-driven skincare led to the creation of SWAVE Skin Care, a medical-grade line that reflects her deep industry knowledge and commitment to excellence. Inspired by her work as Director of Marketing & PR at Face+Body Medical Aesthetics and years of experience in the beauty and wellness industry, SWAVE Skin Care uses pharmaceutical-grade permeation technology to deliver real, clinical-level results.
Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, Samantha holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from SUNY Plattsburgh. She’s a devoted wife, entrepreneur, and mother of five, building businesses and raising a family with passion, purpose, and grace. Above all, she gives the glory to Jesus Christ, who remains the center of her life and the foundation of everything she builds.
